Princess Diana led an interesting life filled with adventures. She managed to help others, to see the world, and to meet some of the world’s biggest celebrities and most significant leaders. Her tragic death left everyone speechless, and sad even to this day. Princess Diana was an exquisite and prominent figure, and she will for sure never be forgotten.

Even though she faced a lot of difficulties in her life, she managed to overcome them. Despite her problems, she tried to change the world to be a better place and to help others achieve their dreams.

She had a busy life, and the question today is, did she manage to go to college despite everything she was going through?

Educational background

After her parents got divorced, Diana and her siblings went on to live with their father. Her father, John Spencer, Viscount Althorp sent her to boarding school at Riddlesworth Hall when she was 9 years old, which made Diana miserable. The school was located within 30 acres of Norfolk countryside and woods, and Diana was so desperate that she could be away from her family, that she said her dad, “If you love me, you won’t leave me here.” She later joined her sisters at West Heath Girls School. When she was 17 she went to Institut Alpin Videmanette –a finishing school in Rougemont, Switzerland, and after one term, Diana went back to London.

Job

Even though she didn’t go to college, she was the first royal to have a job prior to her engagement. When she returned from Switzerland, she had several underpaid jobs, but she was later hired as a kindergarten teacher at the Young England School. She remained at that position until February 1981, when she got engaged to Prince Charles.

Royal marriage

Royal brides can’t have a career, which is why Princess Diana had to quit her job, which she loved. In the documentary titled Diana: In Her Own Words, the princess admitted that her wedding day the worst day of her life. “I went upstairs, had lunch with my sisters who were there, and I said, “I can’t marry him. I can’t do this. This is absolutely unbelievable.” They were wonderful and said, “Well, bad luck, Duch. Your face is on the tea towel, so you’re too late to chicken out.”
