Nine to five seems like the better part of our lives are being spent behind the desk. Having a job is tough and all the more boring and depressing when you consider the luxuries you deny yourself. But here’s one that you shouldn’t. Food. No rule says you can’t eat whatever you want. Become a foodie. You don’t necessarily need to have a blog to be a foodie. Simply try out different things all the time, but if you’re following a diet, nothing in the rule book says you can’t follow it throughout your day at work. Whether you’re trying to gain weight or lose it, maintaining your body or getting it in shape, you can have your diet plan always around you.

Staying Persistent:

For all those who are worried about their physique, the word of the day is rigid. Staying rigid with your idea of a dietary plan is crucial. You can lose all that you’ve worked out for in a matter of days, and you can get yourself in bed if you mess up your diet when following a strict schedule. A few tips to help you stay firm is to make your environment clear of anything that is liable to tempt you to eat it. That means any sweet candies or chocolate beans in the bowls that your colleagues might have on their desks too. You should ask them to put those away or at least not in your sight as it would help. It is in fact very difficult to resist the urge to intake sweetness when it is in sight. You can add certain variations of chocolate to make sure you don’t cheat your diet while you feed your cravings too.

Follow the Schedule:

Have your lunch at the specified time and do not cheat on your diet. Stick to the early breakfast before 8 a.m. and don’t go for just coffee. It’s not healthy. Go for yogurt and fruits or porridge if that’s what your dietary needs are. Then comes the 10 a.m. pre-lunch that keeps you active and determined. 1 p.m. is the time for lunch, and you don’t want to miss out on that. Try vegetables and lots of protein in lunch. A few hours later, you should feel hungry at about 4 p.m. At this point in time, try getting yourself to take in a nut-based snack that can be rich in fats. At 7 p.m. you should come home for a healthy dinner which should be vegetables but if you’re not on a diet, try eating something healthy rather than just ordering Pizza. Have your loved ones help you out with flexispy and other apps that help keep a check on partners.

If you are new to the idea of being a foodie and need help trying out new things, you should consider alternatives to the typical food choices people make. Trying out berries instead of sugar items like candies and chocolates can result in a healthier diet. But of course, eliminating processed food and replacing it with organic fruits and vegetables is the ideal way to have the perfect diet. Pineapples, garlic, turmeric, avocado and everything in olive oil are some of the healthiest recommendations by expert dieticians. You can also try fatty fish and flax seeds to get yourself more options to choose from.
