TMZ reported – one-time tennis champ Jennifer Capriati had overdosed. More recent reports state she is recovering from an overdose of prescription medication that her family has deemed “accidental.” But the story took a bizarre twist when male porn star Dale DaBone, 38, a 12-year veteran of the adult business whose real name is Dale Rutter, began tweeting on his Twitter feed about his relationship to Capriati. DaBone claims to be Capriati’s ex and says that she overdosed because she was despondent that he had returned to appearing in adult movies. “I just talked to her….she said it was because of me…..I wanna puke right now….I fell lower than low,” DaBone tweeted at another porn star on the day Capriati’s overdose was reported. “I can’t believe what I’m seeing……..can’t believe what she just told me,” he continued. Then, “She can blame me…but I quit my whole life to be with her.. I gave her my soul and she left me… I never meant for this to happen.” When a porn gossip site reported on their relationship, he tweeted, “I was in love with her…..I lost her because of porn, and she hates me for it.” More recently, he’s taken to complaining about the media calls he’s been getting since he began posting the details of their relationship. “[S]top asking me questions about jen please….its sickening the twists and bs already being spun on it…..”
Now, TMZ has photos of Capriati and DaBone and more information about their relationship. According to DaBone, who has appeared in nearly 500 adult movies, the two dated from 2003 to 2009. He told the gossip outlet that Capriati suffered from depression and abused prescription medications. Supposedly, it was DaBone’s recent return to porn in “Batman XXX: A Porn Parody” and the fact that Wimbeldon was underway that led to her overdose. Although, he said he didn’t believe Capriati would attempt to kill herself.
Deadspin reported DaBone spoke at greater length about his relationship to Capriati in an interview prior to the overdose in which he claimed Capriati had cheated on him.
[TMZ]“I was in love. The porn thing came out and I had to hide it so I quit porn. It caught up with us. We couldn’t go anywhere together because they would just rip us apart. It was [redacted] up because I treated her like a queen … I went above and beyond because of the porn thing and she cheated a bunch. … What can you do? It really killed me.”
