Around 23 million people tuned in for the royal wedding in 2011. Kate Middleton and Prince William bedazzled us on their big day, but the Queen had some issues with it.
In the royal documentary William and Kate: The First Year, it was revealed that Queen Elizabeth II hated Kate’s vintage-inspired ivory wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. By looking at it for the first time, the Queen said, “It is horrible, dreadful!”
