Hi Frisky readers! I need your help! I can’t finish yawning. For the last two days, I keep feeling the neeeeeed to yawn and I’ll open my mouth (covering it if I’m among mixed company, natch) and will start yawning, but the yawn never fully hits its peak. As a result, I feel like I need to yawn all the time, but never get that satisfaction of actually getting my full yawn on. And now I’m obsessing about it, so every time a yawn hits, I start thinking about how I really hope this is the yawn that works and it never is. It’s very frustrating.
At the same time, I am also experiencing some pressure in my head, specifically behind my eyeballs. I did some Googling and spent a little time on WebMD and haven’t been able to find a link between the yawning and the eye pressure, but considering they started at the same time, I’m convinced they’re connected. Is it allergies? Brain cancer? A sinus infection? I’m not having issues taking full, deep breaths, so I don’t think the half-assed yawn is related to chest congestion. Oh wait hold on –
Yawwwwwwwwwwwwww —
Shit. Still not totally there. GODDAMMIT.
If I’m not feeling normal by tomorrow, I’ll make a doctor appointment, but in the meantime, I thought I would ask if any of YOU have experienced weird symptoms like these and if you ever found out what was causing them? HELPPPPP ME!
