We are almost a month away from Christmas. Truly a magical holiday that brings joy to people’s hearts. It’s that time of the year where you get to sit down at the fireplace with your family and loved ones to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. And it’s also that time of the year where you get to bring out the new Christmas tree and decorate everything from your chimney to your yard.
We are going to tell you how to decorate your home for Christmas to truly catch the experience of living in the North Pole.
Start with the Christmas tree.
Don’t care what anyone says, Christmas starts when you begin decorating the Christmas tree. The go-to colors for the Christmas ball ornaments are white and red and you will decorate the Christmas tree in those colors. Follow up by decorating with yellow lights and green ornaments, just enough to bring another color to the scene. Place figurine ornaments below the Christmas tree, they will look really nice with the presents there.

Decorate the living room and fireplace.
Next up is to bring Christmas onto the rest of the living room. Place candles on the fireplace and hang up the Christmas socks. Light up the curtains with yellow LED lights to catch that comfy vibe. Experiment with the couch with green Christmas pillows. Decorate the living room table with green and white tinsel garland and decorate the windows with Christmas wreaths. And what the living room is missing is you and your family. We can’t have Christmas without Christmas sweaters, right? But for this year, you are going even further. Take your favorite Christmas sweater and add Christmas embroidered patches, show them to your friends let’s make this a trend!
Next up is the yard and the outside of the house.
When the first snow falls what is the most common thing you see the following day? That’s right, snowman! Build a snowman in your yard with your kids and family to list up the spirits in your neighborhood. Make sure to put a scarf and hat on him so he doesn’t freeze outside. Decorate the outside of your house with lights, lots and lots of lights and in all colors. Decorate your windows, the trees and most importantly make sure to place Santa and his rain deer on your roof. Put Christmas wreaths on your front door and decorate the deck, porch, balcony, or even patio with lots and lots of green garland. The only thing missing right now is for you to call your neighbors over put on that Christmas sweater with Christmas embroidered patches and let them know you mean business this Christmas.
