We were all surprised when Harry and Meghan decided to split their ways with Kate and William and to leave Kensington Palace and create their own office. The idea was not well received by the Queen in the beginning, but she ultimately let them have their own office which would be located in the Buckingham Palace. However, Harry and Meghan would like to be even more independent and to break ties from the Buckingham Palace as well. However, Queen is not so eager to help and back down now. Harry and Meghan would actually like to be independent and to build and live their own lives.

The first thing that was speculated what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to split from the Kensington palace was the alleged feud that was constantly going on between Kate and Meghan. However, this theory was dropped and it was then speculated that William and Harry are not on good terms and that this is the reason for the split. On the other hand, the truth may be very simple – maybe Harry and Meghan have wanted to be independent and to focus on the things that they like and would like to fight for.

It is known that Meghan is very independent and that she is an active fighter for women rights. She also works a lot and her work ethics is unprecedented. It is not confirmed, nor denied, that it has been her idea to break away from Kensington and Buckingham Palaces, but it is certain that Harry is also for it.

The Queen has unwillingly given her permission for the split from the Kensington Palace, but when Harry and Meghan asked for the complete split from the Buckingham Palace the Queen firmly denied. She sees this as the weakening of the house and as the break from the tradition and protocols. It should be also noted that Prince Charles is actually on the same terms as the Queen.

They have not stated such a thing, but they have continued to do their work and to travel the globe fighting for their causes. Also, they have not said that they have given up on the idea of breaking up from the Buckingham Palace.

He is the one who knows that the Queen is a very determined person and that she stands behind every word she says and every decision she makes. He is also aware that she did not bring the decision without careful thinking and weighing out the options and that the Queen is sure that this would be the best for Harry and Meghan. It may even happen that Charles would actually have to talk to the couple about the need of obeying protocols and rules.
