Sources close to Angelina Jolie told Hollywood Life that Angelina has never felt bad or guilty for ending Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s marriage, nor has she ever been troubled about how Jennifer might have felt about Angelina dating her alienated husband.
‘Angelina has many regrets after leaving Brad, but one thing she has never felt terrible about was any bad feelings Jen Aniston may have towards her,’ the source declared.
‘Angelina wonders how she could have communicated with Brad more, or how she could have helped him battle his demons better. So many things Angelina questions and/or feels regretful about concerning their relationship still haunt her, but she never worries about how her relationship or divorce may have affected Jen. Angelina simply never really worries or ever really thinks about Jen.’
As Hollywood Life shares, Brad has never cheated on Jennifer during their marriage, and he waited for the divorce to be finalized, so that he could start dating Angelina. On the other hand, there has been a countless number of allegations that the two have in fact been together long before Pitt and Aniston divorced.
Angelina has said in the past that they had feelings for each other for a long time, long before they have decided to pursue them. In a 2006 interview with Vogue, she said that they fell in love during the making of the movie Mr and Mrs Smith in 2004.
She said: ‘Because of the film, we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. I think a few months in I realized, “God, I can’t wait to get to work.”
‘Anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair.’
Two years after that, Jennifer told Vogue that she found Angelina’s remarks ‘uncool’ and said that Brad had a ‘sensitivity chip missing’ because of the pictures he made with Angelina and her kids not long after he left Jen.
Angelina and Brad revealed that they are getting divorced in 2016, due to their differences in parenting.
During that time her lawyer Robert Offer stated: ‘This decision was made for the health of the family.’
While talking with the BBC about her forthcoming divorce, Angelina said: ‘I don’t want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and we are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it…
‘Many, many people find themselves in this situation. My whole family, we’ve all been through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children…and my focus is finding this way through.
‘We are and forever will be a family. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer.’
Two years after Jolie-Pitt couple announced their divorce, Jennifer Aniston and her husband, Justin Theroux announced that they are splitting up. As soon as the news came out, the rumors started circling around about how Jennifer and Brad started dating again.
In an InStyle interview, Jennifer cleared the air by stating that her getting back together with Brad isn’t very likely to happen.
