New year’s resolutions are so passé. Why waste money on an expensive gym membership or bog yourself down with a long list of lofty goals at the start of a fresh new year? We’d like to propose a much simpler–but still quite difficult–way to push your boundaries in 2023: the Zodiac Challenge. We’ve chosen one simple thing for each sign to try this year. It’s just one thing, and you have the whole year to do it, but beware–your challenge might be much tougher than you think, and we’re not bending any rules or pulling any punches with this one! Aries (March 21st-April 19th): Sometime over the course of this year, we challenge you to resist an impulse, any impulse, just one impulse. Seriously, stop for five seconds before you talk, act, react, or make a decision. Go on, we dare you!
Taurus (April 20th-May 20th): Alright, Taurus, here’s the deal. You have to say no to one opportunity for self-indulgence: dessert, a new pair of shoes, the snooze button, whatever. It’s just one time, but remember–no complaining allowed.
Gemini (May 21sh-June 20th): Here’s a lofty goal for you, Gemini: follow through on one thing. Just one thing for the entire year. Godspeed. We’ll be back to check on you in December.

Cancer (June 21st-July 22nd): Do one thing that scares you this year, and we mean something that really pushes your limits. Sometimes for you that simply means setting foot outside your safe, cozy home–so go on, try it out!
Leo (July 23rd-August 22nd): Put someone else’s needs above your own. We know it’s a huge challenge for you, but really, it’s just one time. And remember it has to be this year–no putting it off until a more convenient time, like 2024.
Virgo (August 23rd-September 22nd): How’s this for a Virgo challenge: let one situation unfold entirely on its own. We mean really let it go without spending one second–let alone one week–over-analyzing every single detail. Good luck!
Libra (September 23rd-October 22nd): Take a firm stance on something for once. Really it could be anything, from what cereal to buy to whether or not to get bangs. You can’t deliberate for months, either–just decide!
