For a while now, some things we didn’t know about Kate Middleton and Prince William’s romance have started to surface. According to Katie Nicholl and her book William and Harry: Behind the Palace Walls, Prince William was in a serious relationship with his childhood friend Arabella Musgrave.

Prince William and Prince Harry had a group called ‘’Glosse Posse’’ and their close friends were in it. They would send out invitations for parties, and amongst those friends was Arabella. Prince William and she were childhood friends who haven’t seen each other for a while, so when Prince William saw her on one occasion, he couldn’t believe how much has she changed.
“While walking through a friend’s home party, William made a double step. Arabella was blooming in a beautiful looking girl and wondered why she had not noticed her right now. They danced and drank in the early hours, and when Arabella said good nights, the prince quietly pulled out of the room to follow her upstairs. It was the beginning of passionate romance and they both spent so much time together as much summer as possible,” wrote Nicholl in her book.
Prince William even said to his father, Prince Charles about the romance. Soon after Prince William started college, he wanted to drop out because he was missing Arabella. However, Kate Middleton was the one to advise him to stay in college, and during their second year, Kate and Prince William started living together. Arabella got married to George Galliers-Pratt in 2014, and she is working in public relations for Gucci.
