With nobody knowing for sure when and where will Meghan Markle give birth to her first child, people have been speculating a lot. Kensington Palace is not known for officially commenting or confirming news about the royals, but th8is time they broke their own rule.
Confirmation
Last Thursday, Kensington Palace issued a statement, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby. Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
What does it mean?
So one thing is for sure, Meghan Markle won’t be doing a photo call as other royals have done, like Princess Diana and Kate Middleton doing a photo op outside St. Mary’s Hospital.
Due date
Meghan Markle is expected to give birth in late April or early May, and nobody knows the sex of the baby since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to be surprised when their baby comes. That is why they decorated the nursery in gender-neutral colors, and they stated that they will add a touch of blue or pink once they know the gender of their baby. Markle is officially on maternity leave, and their new home, Frogmore Cottage is finally done.
