Beyonce: She is seen as Queen by many. She has been a musical icon for a number of years now, and is only growing in popularity. She always celebrates black culture and tradition like no one before. She is drives for change.
Separately they are both strong female figures that are something to be admired and looked up to. When they come together, their friendship and the support they give each other is nothing less than inspiring.

Being inspired by Michelle, Beyonce seems to reinvent herself over and over again with no fear. She is always trying out new music styles and in that way pays homage to every black woman.
After Beyonce’s Homecoming movie came out, Michelle was quick to congradulate Beyonce. She shared a tweet, “So proud of my girl! The Queen has done it again. @Beyoncé, thank you for always living your truth. #Homecoming.” In the posted video, Michelle Obama talks about Beyoncé’s ability to convey her message in a way no one else can. Michelle is always praising her friend on her creativity, bravery and talent.

Michelle Obama – She is not only a friend of Beyonce’s but she is also a big fan of her work. She takes time out of her busy day to praise another successful woman. With all the affection and support they show each other, fans of both women can really sense the strength of their friendship, or partnership. This is a real power couple: two people who show respect, love and support to one another.
Since both of these women have a big influence on our culture but also our political scene, they show a great example of how an individula should look and act, but also show us what a good relationship means.
