How about a little getaway into the world of the bathroom?
This room full of technical constraints (ventilation, airtightness, heating) is an obligatory part of the house. The bathroom is both an intimate and warm place where it is good to stroll and an ultra-functional space able to manage with fluidity the morning run.
Therefore, we must take care of the decoration of our bathrooms because it is above all a room in its own right that deserves it, just like the living room or the bedroom.
In exclusivity, we deliver you our selection of decoration ideas to make your bathroom a practical, comfortable and soothing room.

See life in green in your bathroom
We love them for their madness, freshness, and sweetness! Indoor plants can be installed in every room of the house. In the bedroom, to help us sleep better, in the living room to absorb the waves, in the kitchen to provide us with aromatic herbs, but also in the bathroom. Indeed, this room becomes a real wellness jewel case. We install there falling plants, succulents, hanging plants… In short, we turn it into a real jungle that we take pleasure in observing when we relax in a bubble bath. The decoration of the bathroom should not be forgotten, that’s why we love to place plants in this room. However, be careful to choose plants that appreciate humidity in order to take good care of them!
There is nothing like a happy jungle to brighten up a bathroom. Just as in the kitchen, the greenery adds freshness and vitality to this particularly suitable room. If you have the soul of a gardener, put your hands in the soil and let nature flourish, for example with a plant wall on the shower wall of your bathroom! And if, on the other hand, you don’t have a green thumb, simply add a few plants here and there on a shelf or in a hanging lamp.
Listen to music with a fun Bluetooth speaker
If you want to listen to your music directly in the shower, why not chose a Bluetooth shower speaker?
Forget the good old-fashioned radio left in the shower, now you can take your favorite playlist with you while you wash. Equipped with a powerful suction cup that will allow it to hold easily on all smooth surfaces, this small Bluetooth speaker with a simple and effective rounded design is a high-tech gadget that will serve you happy every day.
Easy to pair with your mobile phone or computer, this fun accessory picks up the Bluetooth frequency up to 10 meters away and has a remarkable autonomy of up to 10 hours (the charge is then done via the USB cable provided). And when your phone rings, you can pick up the handset and talk directly through your speakerphone. Isn’t that really classy?
Our advice: choose a shower speaker that is at least IPX4 certified (splash-proof). For more information on the IPX4 certification, you can check out My Shower Speakers.
Wall shelf, a must in the bathroom
Shelf? We did say shelf! Yes, it’s a must-have in the bathroom. More than useful in a room like a bathroom, sometimes small, sometimes biscotti, the shelf allows us to keep towels, cosmetics and green plants within easy reach. It’s also a way to add a little decoration to make your bathroom even warmer.
Rectangular, square, rounded or corner, many types of shelving have been designed to adapt to the different destination surfaces. They are available for hanging, suction cups or screwing. Suction cup shelves are intended for mirrors and tiled surfaces, but they do not support heavy objects. Their main advantage is that they do not have to be pierced through walls, but the strongest ones are those that can be screwed down. Care should be taken to choose waterproof materials for greater durability and hygiene, such as ceramic or wood that has been waterproofed beforehand.
Shelves are more than just storage alternatives; they are part of the shower’s décor. Available in a variety of colors, sizes and shapes, the shelves enhance the bathroom decor.
Opt for the warmth of wood… Ceramics
When we talk about warmer decor, it is impossible not to think of wood and the warm feeling it gives off. But it’s well known that wood and water don’t mix well over time. Wooden-look tiles on the wall or floor are an obvious choice: time goes by, elegance lasts. Wood effect tiles for the bathroom are ideal because they combine the aesthetics of wood with the advantages of ceramic tiles. You can also dare the mineral side by combining wood-look tiles with stone-look tiles. The result will be very elegant and sophisticated.
The island bathtub to sublimate the decoration of your bathroom
The island bathtub is THE centerpiece to enhance a bathroom. Installed in the middle of the room, it gives it a crazy charm. Fluid and rounded lines, a bathtub calls for immediate immersion in a bath of well-being. And then it must be said that an island bath or a bathtub on exposed feet brings a chic and refined touch to a bathroom.
Although designer island bathtubs are no longer made of “porcelain granite”, they are still sometimes made of cast iron – at least some retro island bathtubs – but the excessive weight of this material limits the possibilities of installation, especially on a floor, on an upper floor. Like conventional bathtubs, island baths are mostly made of synthetic materials, which are much lighter (and therefore easier to transport and handle by the installer).
For example, island baths are available in acrylic and composite materials (solid surface or resin concrete coated with a gel coat – a finishing resin – on the surface), as well as enameled steel. As a rule, their price level is related more to the material used than to the design.
A bathroom with a glass roof? Why not!
Perfect for letting in the light, the canopy can be used as a shower screen, especially if you’re addicted to industrial style. If you are tempted by the glass roof as a partition, we recommend adding curtains or blinds to preserve your privacy or you can choose two-way glass for a mirror effect.
To ensure that your glass roof is strong, watertight and solid, choose glass sheets of good thickness. You can choose between double and triple glazing. Double glazing consists of laminated glass walls containing argon gas and provides good thermal and acoustic insulation.
However, triple-glazed glass is even more efficient due to its thickness. In any case, triple glazing requires a structure strong enough to support its weight. In all cases, roof glass is designed to withstand wind, snow, and dust. Roof glazing is available in various thicknesses ranging from 36 to 54 mm. The thicker the glass, the warmer it will keep the house warm in winter.
