The royal family on their day off

The royal family is constantly busy representing the Queen of England in numerous royal engagements. But when they have their day off, they like to spend it somewhere quiet, in the company of the loved ones, or simply to go out shopping. One can argue, but for us, they look at their best when they are dressed casually for their day off, just because they seem even more relatable to us, mortal folk. Take a look at some of the royals looking amazing while enjoying their day off.

New York, New York

Meghan Markle had a private baby shower in New York in February, and she looked chic when she was spotted leaving the Upper East Side. On a trip back to London, she wore trainers, just to be more comfortable on her flight back home.

Princess Diana also liked to dress casually and comfortable. This picture was taken in 1989 when she dropped off Prince Harry and Prince William to school.

While Kate and Prince William were dating in 2008, she spent a lot of time with him outdoors, accompanied by Prince Harry. And by the looks of it, the royal family loves to wear baseball caps when not attending royal events.

The Countess of Wessex is also a striped top fan. Here she is on the Festival of British Eventing with her daughter Louise, who is also wearing a similar look like her mother.

Casual

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie like to dress more carefree and casually when attending events that have nothing to do with representing Her Majesty.

When Prince William and Kate are going to church, they do dress fancier than when on a day off. However, she doesn’t have to wear headgear like when she goes to church with the Queen.
