“We had a lot of mutual friends,” Turner shared with Harper’s Bazaar UK. “And they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time. We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue.” They began their relationship, and after two years of dating, they got engaged. Turner shared with the magazine, “He’s lovely. He’s just the funniest. You wouldn’t expect he’s about to turn 30 this year,” she revealed. “He’s the most fun, energetic, positive person I’ve ever seen. I’m pessimistic, so we balance each other out.”

After Nick saw Chopra in Quantico, he messaged her on Twitter. “I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet,” said Jonas to Vogue on how he approached her online. They were exchanging messages for a long time, before finally meeting in 2017 at the Vanity Fair Oscars party. Jonas got on one knee in front of everybody. “This is in front of a bunch of people,” shared Jonas. “I say, ‘You’re real. Where have you been all my life?’ Like, loud.” The next time they met was at the 2017 Met Gala and afterward is history.
