One of the most interesting events from last year was the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They got married on May 19, 2018. The wedding was a typical, luxurious royal wedding. But there was something that wasn’t so typical about it, and something that wasn’t approved by many.
Meghan is an American actress, she was married before and she is biracial. These are some of the reasons people thought that she wasn’t the right fit for the royal family. But they were so wrong. Markle is doing really well as a member of the royal family now. And something that others didn’t consider is that Meghan is not the first celebrity that became royal. She is also not the first biracial woman, the first American or the first divorcee that married a royal.
On our list, you will see some of the famous women who became royal before Meghan Markle did.
