Meghan Markle is in the middle of her family drama, with her half-sister bashing her name every chance she gets, and her father, Thomas Markle taking every opportunity to get media’s attention. With all that said, will Thomas Markle have an opportunity to redeem himself, and will Meghan ever forgive him?

Several days before Meghan’s royal wedding, Thomas Markle decided to stage paparazzi photos, and not do things a normal father should do before his girl’s big day. When that failed for him, the news that he will not be present at his daughter’s wedding caused everyone to wonder why. Thomas Markle had to do to heart surgery, allegedly due to all the stress that he was felling, and couldn’t attend the wedding. He did do an interview for Good Morning Britain, where he said that he was sad and jealous that Prince Charles was the one to walk Meghan down the aisle, and not him. But then it got weird. “The unfortunate thing for me now is I’m a footnote in one of the greatest moments in history rather than the dad walking her down the aisle,” Thomas Marke said.

Thomas Markle dug himself a deep hole, and no one knows how will he ever get to get out. Instead of trying to patch things up with Meghan in a normal way, he gave Meghan’s letters to the media which she wrote to him, asking him to stop all the madness the Markle family is causing her. “If you love me, as you tell the press you do, please stop. Please allow us to live our lives in peace … I realize you’re so far down this rabbit hole, you feel (or may feel) there’s no way out …” He said he gave the press the letters in order to clear his name, but he only made things worse. It seems like he is doing everything he can just to stay in the spotlight, and he is not trying anything good to repair his relationship with Meghan.

It seems like that won’t be happening. He has done so much wrong, and it seems like their relationship is beyond repair. Markle family has not stopped attacking Meghan ever since she became the Duchess of Sussex, and by the likes of it, they won’t stop. He would have to try much harder if he wants to win the affection of his daughter, and if he is genuinely interested in his seeing his grandchild.
