News from New York Comic Con! We finally know a bit more about what the sequel holds. Next step in the Disney’s 2012 animated hit has been rumored and speculated on for years. Ralph Breaks the Internet is the title, as we see John C. Reilly’s former video game villain travel far away from his arcade machine home. He travels to a completely new digital matrix, the Internet itself. Vanellope (Sarah Silverman), his little companion, will be joining him on this amazing adventure of course. Other returning characters include King Candy (Alan Tudyk), Sgt. Calhoun (Jane Lynch), and Felix (Jack McBrayer). Some of the newcomers to the franchise are the late-night talk show host James Corden and voice actress Jodi Benson, famous for The Little Mermaid and Toy Story. Their roles are unknown as of yet.
The Trailer
The trailer for the movie reveals new characters, like a crew of racers from an online racing game called Slaughter Race. These racers are Pyro (Hamish Blake), Felony (Ali Wong), Little Debbie (Glozell Green) and Butcher Boy (Timothy Simons). Another new character is Double Dan (Alfred Molina), a massive, slimy and creepy character with a second head, Little Dan, tucked under its neck.
Release Date
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 arrives into cinemas on November 21, 2018.
Cast
Along with the aforementioned actors, Gal Gadot is also mentioned. The Wonder Woman star will voice a tough and rough racer named Shank, who will have a bumpy relationship with Vanellope.

Ralph Breaks the Internet Story
It is rumored that around 20 minutes of the movie was shown at the New York Comic Con. Of course, press was not allowed to record any of it. Apparently, the full version of the Disney Princesses scene was shown, featuring some amazing jokes.
What is the plot of the movie actually going to be? At the Litwak’s Family Fun Center & Arcade, the steering wheel for Sugar Rush is destroyed. As this is an old game, replacements are unavailable, the only one being $100 dollars on eBay. However, the game does not make enough income to actually be repaired, so Vanellope von Schweetz falls into a deep depression, thinking she will never drive again.
Luckily, Litwak’s installs Wi-Fi to the building, which allows Ralph and Vanellope to travel to the Internet and get the replacement part. The world of the internet is full of avatars of real life users. The auction for the wheel goes badly, and our two clumsy heroes end up owing a lot of money, so they need to come up with ways of getting it back.
For example, they go into a Grand Theft Auto inspired game, where Vanellope needs to steal a very rare and expensive car. Shank is the owner, and the two become sort of enemies at first, but become closer later. Vanellope is impressed with the game, as it does not have those boring and easy tracks like her old game.

Ralph on the other hand works with Yesss (Taraji P. Henson), who is a being familiar with what is currently trendy in pop culture. She helps Ralph in becoming a YouTube star, but negative comments about him on Twitter make him lose all of his self-confidence.
Director of the original movie, Rich Moore, co-directs this time alongside Phil Johnston.
In 2012, Wreck-It Ralph gave us a villain’s quest for change, improvement and finding self-worth. The movie also brought many famous video game characters, like Sonic the Hedgehog, Pac-Man and Street Fighter heroes. It was an absolute hit for Disney, earning $471.2 million. Other than the many cameos from famous and beloved characters, the main cast dynamic has to do a lot with this giant success, as the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope is simultaneously funny and heartwarming.
Moore expressed his excitement of bringing all the characters again for the sequel, stating that the relationship between the main duo is again in the center of the story.
One of the most anticipated scenes is Vanellope chilling out and making friends with all the Disney princesses at once. The images and parts of the trailer featuring this scene stirred amazement among the fans online, as everyone eagerly awaits this movie. The trailer also features MARVEL superheroes and Star Wars characters, so a lot of fun should be in store for all the moviegoers!
