The Travels Of Marco
After releasing a short album, Kitchen Chronicles, with few hit singles like NoHook, Honchson, and Marcoof500 finally went on and released what might be one of the best upcoming-star albums of they wear – The Travels of Marco. With the name of the album already depicting the intent, this album contains13 tracks that follow Marco’s life, through sharp bars and witness. It is for sure the best thing that Marco has released till now, showing people that above anything else he is a fantastic emcee and a music artist. The whole album is delivered through a story-telling mode, smashing it up with a melodic chorus. As he claims, with his goal being to create soul-baring music, his tracks deliver more life stories than some of the greatest hip-hop artists would ever experience.
Although the whole album is excellent, with hits like Memories, Marco Polo, Ion Fuck Wid Gucci being a major one, his track Take Me Away for sure is the real highlight. With the lyrical complexity that one can only imagine, and each bar being right on the point, it tells its own story. It is simple, yet slick produced, with keyboards and percussion sounds leaving just enough space for Marco’s voice to be in the center, while still providing an excellent ambient. The length is 2:30 minutes, and we guarantee you are going to enjoy every single second of it. At least we did.
