It’s pretty much general knowledge now that Meghan Markle is very close to her mother, Doria Ragland. At the moment Doria lives in Los Angeles which makes it quite hard to see Meghan as frequently as she might like to. Furthermore, the time zone difference and he busy schedule of Meghan makes it almost impossible for the two of them to even find the time to talk to each other.
It’s common sense that Doria is excitedly waiting for her grandchild to be born. Babies grow up at the snap of a finger, time flies when you it comes to children so it makes sense that Doria wouldn’t want to miss a thing. So does this mean that she will be moving to the UK just after Meghan gives birth?

There’s quite enough space for another person at their new person
Prince Harry and his wife are in the middle of renovating their new home called Frogmore Cottage that sits just outside of Lindon in Windsor, England. The Prince has made it very public that he is on very good terms and that he just adores Doria so he definitely wouldn’t have anything against Doria moving in. Which would be just amazing for Meghan, having her beloved mother and very close friend in the same home so that they can spend some quality time together.
The Duchess of Sussex has no family member in the UK
While Prince Harry has his whole family very near to him and can see them whenever he wants it is not like that for Meghan. And what makes it even harder is that Meghan is on good terms only with he mother as far as family goes.
It would not be easy for Meghan to fly to Los Angeles with a new baby
It’s common knowledge that California is very far from the UK and it definitely wouldn’t be easy for Meghan go on a trip as tiring as that as frequently as she would like to. Meghan and Harry probably want Doriato be very involved in their new child’s life. So Doria staying in California would make it very difficult for the royal baby to get to know his or her grandmother and in the end would be a big disappointment for everyone.
Doria is on great terms with everyone in the royal family
As we could see at the royal wedding and how they interacted with each other, Doria and each member of the royal family just get on so well. Another piece of evidence to support this claim is that Queen Elizabeth even invited Doria to spend Christmas with the royal family at her Sandrigham Estate and we haven’t heard of such an event in the past. Doria would receive a very warm welcome by everyone there, including Kate Middleton and Price William, Camilla and Prince Charles and everyone else, if she chooses to move to the UK.
Doria can also live in London
If Meghan’s mother does choose to move to the UK she doesn’t really have to live at the Windsor Estate but she could live in London. This too would make it possible for her to spend a lot of time with Meghan, Harry and the baby and still get to live her own life and to enjoy a new county and city. Just imagine how amazing it would be for Meghan her mother to go sightseeing in London and enjoy everything the city has to offer.
All in all, Harry and Meghan would love to welcome Doria both to the UK and their home, or wherever she chooses to live. She is going to make an incredible grandmother and will enrich her grandchild’s life with her presence.
