Even though Prince George and Princess Charlotte are royals, their parents Prince William and Kate Middleton have provided them very carefree childhoods. They play outside every day and have sports activities. However, there is one very strict rule that is non-negotiable, their bedtime.
Why is the children’s bedtime so strict?
The bedtime for the kids is 7 p.m, and there are no exceptions. It is essential for them to be well rested since they deal with a lot of traveling and are often in the public eye. Their nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo respects these rules as well as the parents.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s bedrooms
Rooms for both of them have IKEA furniture all over. Knowing that Prince George loves dinosaurs, police cars, and fire trucks, we can assume that those are the themes of his room. Princess Charlotte, however, has Disney themed room, with the FLISAT dollhouse which can be mounted on a shelf to free up more space for playing. In 2018, the couple visited the National Museum of Architecture and Design in Stockholm, and that is when they spoke with Marcus Engman, IKEA’s Head of Design, and decided to choose IKEA to decorate the kids’ rooms. Engman was thrilled and proud that IKEA could fit both royals and ordinary people.
Prince Louis’ nursery
Since the Duke and Duchess didn’t know if their baby is going to be a boy or a girl, they decided to decorate the nursery with a classic theme, Peter Rabbit. Dragons of Walton Street designer wanted to make the space both comfortable for mom and the nanny and the baby.
