Today is a special day for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – it’s their six-month wedding anniversary. They tied the knot on May 19th this year, and they decided to celebrate the anniversary in private during the day but will go for Royal Variety Performance later in the evening. Harry and Meghan are scheduled to visit the entertainment show at the London Palladium. It will be the Duchess’ first time at the performance, while her husband already attended in 2015.
Greg Davis will be the host, and the show will cover performances from Take That, the cast of Hamilton, George Ezra, Clean Bandit, the cast of Tina, The Tina Turner Musical, and Andrea and Matteo Bocelli. The royal couple will meet a variety of performers, as well as Royal Variety Charity and ITV officials.
The Royal Variety Performance is annual, and always with the help of Royal Variety Charity. Queen Elizabeth is the patron. Every year a different royal member attend the performance – last year Prince William and Kate made an appearance, while Kate was pregnant with Prince Louis.
During these six months, Meghan and Harry led an interesting and hectic life. After their royal nuptials and their honeymoon, the royal couple went on their royal tour, which lasted for 16 days, where they visited Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga. They went to Ireland for a few days during July.
The first solo appearance of the Duchess of Sussex was in September when she attended the opening of the Oceania exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts. She also published her first charity cookbook with the help of her husband and her mother, Doria Ragland.
The most exciting this that has happened to Prince Harry and Meghan is the baby! Meghan is pregnant with their first child, and the baby is set to arrive sometime in the spring.
