Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave order to their assistants to maintain the details about the delivery of their first child a secret. According to some insiders, the royal couple might go for home delivery at the Frogmore Cottage, but that is not confirmed yet. The reason why they don’t want to share any detail is that they don’t want to have all that media craziness Kate Middleton and Prince William went through when their children arrived.
Unlike Kate and Prince William, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t want any photographers when their first child arrives. Buckingham Palace will share when Meghan goes into labor, and afterward, they will announce the baby’s gender, its weight and where the baby was born.
An insider shared with Daily Mail, ‘’They want a couple of hours just to enjoy being parents for the first time before the rest of the world is told. It’s perfectly natural as it’s such an important moment in anyone’s life.’’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will pose for photographs two days after the baby is born. Their child is seventh in the line for the throne, and there have been some rumors that Harry and Meghan will choose not to give their child HRH title, just like Prince Edward and Princess Anne did with their children.
Buckingham Palace’s statement read, ‘’The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby. Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The duke and duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.’’
It is still unknown if the Duchess of Sussex will opt for home delivery, or giving birth at the Lindo Wing, where Princess Diana and Kate Middleton gave birth to their children.
