It seems that everyone is obsessed with the royal family, especially with prince harry and Meghan Markle. Ever since they first made their public appearance in 2016, fans and media are not leaving them from their sight not even for a second.
We were fortunate enough to watch their wedding ceremony on May 19, 2018. Now we are all anxiously expecting the arrival of their first child, which is supposed to happen sometime in the spring.
Kengistgotn Palace revealed that Meghan is pregnant through this statement:
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
However, what you probably still don’t know is how Harry proposed to his wife. Luckily for you, here is the romantic royal proposal story that will probably melt your hearts.
While trying to get away from all the craziness that is surrounding them, Meghan and Harry like to spend their night at home. They lived in lived together at a 2- bedroom apartment in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace before they tied the knot. They were engaged several weeks before they revealed it to the world in November 2017 while having a romantic night at their home.
Harry and Meghan shared everything about their proposal night to BBC’s reporter, Mishal Husain. Even though they had previously talked about getting married, Harry still amazed Meghan.
Meghan was preparing dinner at the time, without realizing how her evening would end.
“It was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got down on one knee. As a matter of fact, I could barely let you finish proposing. I said, “Can I say yes now?” Harry proceeded, “There were hugs, and I had the ring in my finger. I was like, “Can I give you the ring?” She goes, “Oh, yes! The ring!” It was a really nice moment. It was just the two of us, and I think I managed to catch her by surprise as well.”
They met on a blind date in July 2016, at the SoHo House in London. Harry recalls,
“I was beautifully surprised when I walked into that room and saw her. There she was sitting there,’’ Harry said. ‘’I’m going to have to up my game.”
