Tips To Create The Best Sports Outfit

Doing sports or any physical activity is not only a matter of health and well-being. We also do it to feel good with ourselves, and therefore, the time to train must be very special for us. As it is so important to look and feel great during this time, using any kind of clothing to train is not the best choice.

Finding the perfect combination to go to the gym or train on your own is not at all difficult, in fact, is well established these days. If we want to determine it mathematically, then we could say that a good sports bra plus a pair of proper leggings is equal to comfort, flexibility, and good support when exercising. Yes, as you just read, these two pieces are essential to carry out any sporting activity. There is nothing else in the closet that meets the requirements to do this kind of activities as well as they do.

A sports bra is the best way to protect the bust during this activity. This part of the body is able to lose its toning easily if they do not have adequate support, especially if it is large. During physical activity, the bust is subject to greater pressure and movement, and this is enough for gravity to act on it and not precisely in a positive way.

A sports bra has everything necessary so that this does not happen, as long as you know how to choose. Its fabric, size, type of support and design vary completely according to the final use it will receive. Therefore, before deciding to buy it, be very clear about what and when you will use it.

The same happens with a pair of leggings. This versatile piece in the female closet is essential when exercising since it provides a lot of comforts and also, its flexibility allows to perform all the movements possible.

However, not all leggings work like sports ones. There are pieces of casual use, where the fabric used is mainly an alloy between cotton and spandex. However, this does not work when talking about sports outfits, simply because the fabric does not work.

Both in the case of bra and leggings, it is very important to highlight the role played by the material with which they are manufactured in their functionality. These blends of polyester, spandex, nylon, and others are those that allow perspiration through them, and also provide greater adjustment. Polyester is the base, spandex is what provides elasticity and nylon is what makes it permeable and ideal for fastening. A great variety of models, with all these characteristics, can be found easily through Tuffwomen.

How To Find The Perfect Size For Your Sports Outfit?

As with conventional bras, sports ones also divide their sizing into letters and numbers. This means that you must look for the same size that you traditionally use in your bras. If you still do not know it, it’s much easier than you imagine:

  • With a tape measure, take the size of your chest. To do this, you must place it horizontally just on the line where your bust has finished.
  • To this value (in inches) you must add 5. If the result is odd, then roll down a number. That will be your band size, for example, 36.
  • Repeat the procedure with the tape measure but on your bust directly, placing it on the most prominent part of it.
  • Subtract both measures. The difference will tell you what the cup size is: 1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, 4 = D.
  • If the difference was 3, then your final size is 36C.

Now, many manufacturers opt for more generic sizes, such as xs, s, m, and l. In those cases, it is necessary to make a small conversion through a measuring chart where you can locate the traditional size of your bra between one of these more conventional measures. This is more common in low impact bras, where the cup section is usually not the one that stands out; this is the reason why they are highly recommended for women with little breast.

With the leggings, it’s a little simpler. As with the bra, you can take advantage of a very practical measure chart that works based on the size of your hips and waist mainly. Calculate this data with your tape measure and place them within the table. Ready! You will soon know if you are s, m, l, or xl.
