Even though Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby isn’t born yet, it tells us a lot about the nature of the monarchy.
The Duchess of Sussex’s due date is approaching or is already approached (no one can tell for sure). It’s still a question whether she’ll deliver a son or a daughter.
Besides that, we still have many questions. Will there be an announcement outside of the Buckingham Palace doors? Will the baby be delivered in London or somewhere closer to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s home in Windsor? Is she going to deliver it at home like all royal women before Princess Anne and Princess Diana or is she going to follow the new traditions?
The spokesman of the Buckingham Palace said earlier this month that Harry and Meghan have “taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private.”
If anyone needs a reminder, when Kate Middleton gave birth to all her three children, the process about the declaration and the first photo was military precise. There was no room for an error.
From all of this, we can see how different Prince Harry and his brother Prince William’s families are. However, we still respect Meghan’s wait-and-see nature of pregnancy, which is a bit different from Kate Middleton’s style.
