Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still living at the Kensington Palace in Nottingham Cottage, but they will move soon to the countryside, because they want to raise their baby away from the public, in peace and quiet.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child,” Kensington palace published a statement recently. Some believe that the reason the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are moving is that of the fight between them and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Frogmore Cottage
It is located on the ground of Windsor Estate. Queen Elizabeth II gave them as a gift for their unborn child. Frogmore Cottage used to be for staff housing and that is why it is made into five different units. Prince Harry and Meghan have started with renovating the place, and they want to make the five-unit space into a ten-bedroom mansion. The queen gave the money for renovation, and the house will have a nursery, gym and yoga studio.
But when will they move? The Sun reported that it should happen soon, during these first months of 2019.
Windsor childhood
Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to raise their child far away from all the craziness their royalty causes, the Frogmore Cottage is perfect for it. There their child can have a normal life. Being at the Windsor means that Harry and Meghan will get more time to spend with Prince Philip, since he retired to the countryside, and Queen Elizabeth II comes to visit any chance she gets.
