Baby Sussex is soon to arrive and his/her uncle, Prince William will probably miss the birth. There are high chances that Prince William will miss the birth of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s. The reason is a scheduled trip to New Zealand.
Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter and announced that ‘The Duke of Cambridge will visit New Zealand on behalf of The Queen to honour the victims of the Christchurch mosques terrorist attack. The visit in late April will be made at the request of the Prime Minister of New Zealand.’

The tweet came with a press release, which said that Prince William will be meeting the people who have been affected by the attack and will pay tribute to the extraordinary compassion and solidarity that the people of New Zealand have shown in recent weeks.
Hence, the Duke of Cambridge will probably be on his trip in New Zealand when Baby Sussex arrives. However, the trip will be for a good cause as the March 14 terrorist attack were the country’s worst mass shooting in history.
Megan Markle and Prince Harry also paid their respects. The Duchess of Sussex wrote in the book of condolence, ‘We are with you,’ while the Duke of Sussex wrote ‘Arohanui’ under his name, which means ‘with deep affection’ in Maori.
The due date and the gender of Baby Sussex hasn’t been officially announced yet. However, it is known that the royal baby will arrive in late April or early May, which was reaffirmed by Kensington Palace.
The announcement said, ‘Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.’
We are all eager to meet Meghan and Harry’s first baby. The couple got married in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
