Some of the magazines have stated recently that Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes are teaming up for a “Hollywood production.” This looks like it was based on solely on the fact that both actresses were married to Tom Cruise.
GossipCop can dismiss the story. According to Grazia, a UK magazine, the actresses are planning to work together. A questionable source shared with the magazine:
“Katie and Nicole have exchanged messages via their agents. But out of respect to Tom, it’s been kept private.
” The insider further explained:
“Obviously, they share common ground, and feel it’s finally time for them to be able to work on something together. There have been covert communications.”
The magazine also added that Katie contacted Nicole “for advice on how to rebuild her career” in the middle of her ongoing divorce from Tom Cruise. “There’s certainly nothing stopping them working together,” continued the alleged insider. “Nicole was wary about it at first, but as more time has passed, she has warmed to the idea. Nicole’s agents have stressed that if it does happen it should be an ensemble piece rather than casting them both as leads in a big drama. Either would, it would cause a huge spectacle.”
However, the magazine didn’t give any information about their alleged “Hollywood production.” They didn’t even say if it’s about a movie or a TV show. GossipCop contacted Katie’s agents, who told them that the story is “untrue.”
In the meantime, both Katie and Nicole have projects on their own. It was stated in October that Katie Holmes will be appearing in the sequel of the 2016 horror film The Boy. The making of the movie will start in January 2019. Nicole Kidman is currently working on the Amazon series “The Expatriates.”
