Serena Williams has nothing but kind words about her friend Meghan Markle.
On Wednesday night the tennis player launched her clothing line at Art Basel in Miami and there she talked to People Magazine about her friendship with the Duchess of Sussex.
She said the Duchess didn’t change a bit, and that she is the same as she was before marrying Prince Harry in March 2018, and becoming a member of the royal family.
Many British media created an image of Meghan as spoiled, difficult, demanding, and rude toward palace staff.
Serena said how Meghan is sweet and always puts others before herself. She thinks Meghan shouldn’t be always this nice and she should think about herself more. They recently had a little chat and the tennis player recalled what they talked about.
“I’m like, ‘How are you?’ and she’s like, ‘No, how are you?’ and I’m like, ‘You’re so sweet, but I’m really asking – how are YOU?’ I’m like, ‘Meghan, stop being so nice … you’re the pregnant one, aren’t you supposed to have hormones, why are you so sweet?’ But that’s always been her.”
But some don’t agree with these sweet words Serena has of her friend, as the media are saying she is demanding and difficult. Not only did the member of her stuff quit after only six months of work, but now they’re moving from Windsor Castle to Frogmore Cottage.
