A Mysterious Teaser Poster Of The Series Released By HBO
A few teaser videos had been released by HBO a couple of weeks ago. Videos were titled Aftermath, and with it there was a poster that numerous people saw as blood-curdling. On the poster there was the shape of the Iron Throne made out of the main cast members lying in the snow, looking dead. This made fans wonder about the meaning of the poster. Some believe that the characters in the snow are the ones who will surely die, and others think this is just a warning about which characters are in true danger.
The Poster Might Be Predicting The Deaths
According to a user on Reddit.com the poster is showing that those on the right side of the Night King will die. This theory seems legit to some of the fans, who even identified those characters. Some of them are Cesei Lannister, Missandei, The Mountain, and Theon Greyjoy. When it comes to Cersei, this theory does make sense since when she was young, she was told that she would die at the hands of a „little brother“. The little brother makes us automatically think of Tyrion, or even Jaime, while it doesn’t have to mean that a little brother is her own brother. Fans believe that Cersei is going to be the one of the characters that will surely die. The Mountain is Cersei’s bodyguard, so if Cersei dies, it is highly likely that he will die too. Another character portrayed as a villain throughout the show, who is believed to be killed in the final season, is Theon. It is likely that his death will be heroic, since it seems that he repent about his wrongdoings. On the other hand, Missandei’s death doesn’t look like something that is sure, to fans. Also, she is not a warrior, and she is not that important to the show. Her death doesn’t look like something that would have a big effect on the most of the viewers. Yet, we can’t know for sure what will happened to her, and if she is about to have some big impact on things that are about to happen.
Who Will Survive The Final Season?
If it is to believe the teaser poster, many characters will survive. Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, and Arya Stark are all on the left side of the Night King in the poster, so fans believe that they will survive. Next to them there are some of the characters viewers don’t think will make it out alive, including Tyrion Lannister, Melisandre, and Grey Worm. In the season 7, Melisandre told Varys: „I have to die in this strange country, just like you.“, which makes fans think she won’t survive the final season.
