Buckingham Palace announced that Harry and Megan would lose the titles of “his and her royal highness” and would no longer be entitled to use money from funds filled by the nation’s taxpayers. The couple will also no longer formally represent the Queen and Kingdom.
Prince Harry was hoping that they will continue serving the Queen, the Commonwealth, and his military associations without public funding. The couple admitted to media they retreated from everything they know so far and stepped into something they hope will bring them a more peaceful life.
The main reason for leaving was pressure from media, and The Duke of Sussex repeatedly clashed with them, even accusing media of being directly responsible for the death of his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997.
Despite his wish to move away from the UK with his wife and son, Harry does feel sad about giving up on many things from his entire life.
