Meghan Markle is already accustomed to her new royal life, but she is still facing some difficulties. It seems like the world is just waiting for a tiny mistake Markle can make, to criticize her. With the recent staff members quitting their positions, the rumors have been swirling around that the reason behind this is that the Duchess of Sussex is difficult to work with.
There is also this feud going on between Prince Harry and Prince William, and everyone is blaming Markle for it. But how does Queen Elizabeth II feel about all the drama surrounding Meghan Markle?
Queen Elizabeth II doesn’t like how Meghan is handling things
Ever since Harry and Meghan got engaged, the drama hasn’t left the spot. When her father, Thomas Markle, and her siblings caused a lot of drama after the royal wedding, Meghan decided to shun them completely. But this is something the queen is not supportive of. An insider close to the royal family shared with Vanity Fair, “She was very concerned that it [the Markle situation] was spiraling out of control, which it was. Buckingham Palace wanted to be able to do something and be proactive and make the situation go away. It was a direction from the Queen, so her courtiers were under strict instructions to sort it out. But Kensington Palace was not singing from the same hymn sheet, and that was because the message was coming from Meghan. She didn’t want to engage and thought that she could handle it on her own.” This is also one of the reasons the two brothers, Harry and William are having some problems. “The Duke of Cambridge reportedly couldn’t understand ignoring a parent, whatever they’d done, having lost his mum at such a young age,” stated The Sun.
Respecting what Meghan wants
The queen might not agree with everything Meghan does or plans to do, but she is very respectful to her. She is letting Meghan make her own choices, regarding her family, amongst other things.
