What will happen?
Death is something nobody ever wants to talk about, but it is part of our life. For the royal family, they have plans for such tragedies, due to their important role in this world. When Prince Harry and Prince William were just boys, they never flew on the same plane as their father, Prince Charles, because they were second and third in line for the throne.
Prince George can’t rule
In 1937 the Regency Act of 1937 was put into place, and t stated that a minor can’t rule. Before his 18th birthday, a ‘’regent’’ is acting on behalf of the monarchy, and only when a said minor turns 18, he can rule the all British commonwealths. That means that Prince George can’t become the King of England before he turns 18.
Prince Harry could rule
That before-mentioned regent would most likely be Harry. This is all in case something happens to Prince Charles and William. A regent must be over 21 and residing in England, and Prince Harry is all of those things.
What happens if Prince Harry doesn’t become a regent?
If Prince Harry was to decline the position, or if he was deemed unfit, Prince Andrew would act as a regent, due to the fact that he is just after Prince Harry in the line for the throne.
