#NoMakeup and #wokeuplikethis selfies trending started, many celebrities decided to joy in and share some photos of themselves we don’t have much chance to see. Some were unaware that NO MAKEUP means a face without a blush or eyeliner, or any kind of something that is not naturally on your face, so those won’t count. Yet some successful #nomakeup photos were shocking as celebrities who were pictured didn’t look like themselves, or to better say they didn’t look like we are used of seeing them. Here are some of the celebrities that are almost unrecognizable without makeup.

Chelsea Handler

The stand-up comedian has been posting many controversial and topless photo on Twitter, and there is no surprise her #nomakeup photo is the roughest. Not sure whether she wanted to be funny or this is her morning look, but she definitely made a point.

Demi Lovato

As the queen of #nomakeup photos, Demi Lovato did a naked, no makeup, no retouching shoot with Vanity Fair to embrace natural women body. Yet on this photo, she doesn’t look like herself and it clearly isn’t to show off with.

Nicki Minaj

This after shower photo of Nicki Minaj is a real shock. Without eyeliner, eyebrows and lash extensions, she really looks like younger and she has big beautiful eyes.

Tyra Banks

Tyra’s natural beauty is beyond any other, and there is no wonder she was the first African-American woman on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and Victoria’s Secret Angel. Yet this photo kind off freaks me out, maybe because of her crazy eyes and facial expression, but it is definitely one of her worst.

Sharon Stone

When first seeing this photo you will definitely worry whether Sharon Stone is very ill or there is something wrong with her. Unrecognizable pale face and hairband definitely hide the natural beauty this actress has.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry, is that you? This odd photo was posted by her ex-husband Russell Brand in 2010, but it was quickly deleted. We all have those morning photos, but who on Earth would post this photo? And again at that time, he was her husband. Odd. Thank God we have some evidence she is a natural beauty, regardless of this photo.

Definitely, one of the celebrities that are gorgeous either with or without makeup, but this after-workout photo of Jessica Alba looks less attractive then we are used to. She still looks gorgeous thou.

One of my favourite #nomakeup photos is the one of AnnaLynne McCord as she is showing that even celebrities can have problems with pimples and they should not be ashamed of it.

Many people criticise Kylie Jenner for posting a #nomakeup photo with clearly some makeup on her face, the eyeliner, but the other parts of her face are makeupless. If she posted no makeup photo before she did her nose and lips, people would think she isn’t that gorgeous, but now she looks stunning.

Lady Gaga

We are more used on seeing Lady Gaga in outrageous looks (remember meat dress), but on this photo, she is unrecognizably beautiful. We would never say this is the same person, as she has naturally brown hair and her eyes are big and her face is mild. Simple beauty.

Marilyn Manson

Have you ever seen Marilyn Manson without makeup? Me neither. But it exists and it was posted by the Twitter page of the Marilyn Manson Wiki. Not sure about you, but I would never ever say this is the same person as he looks good without all of that makeup.

Adele

Woow. Not only does she have an angel voice, but Adele’s got an angelic face too. Sometimes makeup does more harm than good, and in my opinion, Adele is more beautiful without make rather than with. Comparing these two photos, I’d vote for #nomakeup.

Not sure why Taylor Swift deleted this photo from Instagram, but she looks damn gorgeous and she is such a natural beauty among many of her qualities. The picture was captioned “I woke up like thissss (With a cat on me)” and she definitely looks beautiful in the mornings.

RuPaul

Seeing Andre Charles or better known as RuPaul without drag queen makeup and outfit is simply unrecognizable. I bet you’d never guess who the person on the left photo is if it weren’t for the right photo to explain it. PuRaul only wears his drag outfit only when he’s doing his show, yet it’s hard to imagine he would be recognized on the street without it.

Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria is definitely among those natural beauties and she knows it. She isn’t afraid of going out without makeup or posting photos on her Instagram account. In any way, she looks gorgeous.

Zoe Saldana is famous for her movies where it doesn’t look like herself, like in Avatar or Guardians of the galaxy, but she still looked gorgeous. This is why she is so beautiful natural, and when she is not wearing makeup she still looks like she’s from the other planet. Her beauty is beyond measure and I simply love how gorgeous she looks.

When one thinks of Gwen Stefani’s look, it is always bright red lipstick and thick black eyeliner, but she definitely wowed us when she posted a photo on her Instagram in 2016 on which she is without makeup. She looked so sweet and unrecognizable, and this was probably a turning point of her looks as she continued looking more natural.

I absolutely love these adorable freckles on Kesha’s face when she’s not hiding them behind heavy makeup. With makeup, she looks like a star, but without it, she looks like a sweet girl next door. She isn’t unrecognizable without makeup, but she definitely looks different.
