Even though they are living the perfect royal life at the moment, the things between them weren’t always so perfect.
Everybody knows that at one point during their relationship they broke up. That was in 2007, but eventually, they got back together and got engaged in 2010.
However, there was another time when the royal couple had problems. While on a summer break in 2004, William allegedly wanted some space, and he went on a summer break vacation with a friend.
Kate wasn’t all thrilled about it.
As stated by The Express, in the book ‘The Duchess of Cambridge: How Kate Middleton Became A Future Queen’, is stated that William went with Guy Pelly, godfather to Prince Louis, and he employed all-female crew for their trip away. The author of the book shared that Kate was ‘’miserable’’ when she learned about it.
The book revealed that the Duchess went home to Berkshire to spend time with her family, and to find a way to deal with the situation she was found in. “She got quite drunk on white wine and really let her guard down,” her friends shared. “She was debating whether or not she should text or call him. She said how sad she was and how much she was missing William but never mentioned it after that.”
Fortunately, we all know how perfect things are between them now. Their beautiful fairytale continued up to this date, and they share three adorable children together – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
